CGI…
The evolution of cinema and video production over the last few decades has grown beyond belief. Some would say that the Super Hero genre and movies of the like, has all but taken over the motion picture industry . I’m not saying that’s a good thing or a bad thing. But one thing is undeniable. Computer Generated Images, or CGI has improved the visual impact of the movie theater experience by leaps and bounds.
Think about the Christopher Reeves Superman movies of the 1970’s and 1980’s….or movies like “The Blob” and others like it. There are scenes in many of these “Old School” films where you can see things you’re not supposed to see, like ropes or other props that were used to create their desired illusion. Fast forward to 2017 and as anyone who has gone to the movies lately can attest, CGI continues to grow and push its own limits…It’s getting more and more difficult to tell the difference between reality and CGI….

Unfortunately our “slasher” movie was removed from the contest for being too scary…I’m not joking….Nevertheless, I really enjoyed producing this movie as we were able to honor the methods and styles of Alfred Hitchcock and Francis Ford Coppola.
