What Are the Best Camera Deals in 2018? Michigan Drone Pilot Explains

Hey there, and welcome to another episode of Tips & Tech Talk. I am your host Ron, a Michigan drone pilot. Well, Black Friday’s come and gone. Local Business Saturday’s come and gone. Cyber Monday is in the rear view mirror as well. But today I want to talk about the top five camera deals you can get this holiday shopping season.

Before I get started I want to make sure you understand something. Even though drones are their own category, to me, I look at drones as just a camera I can put in the air. So in these five camera deals will be some drones. So without further ado, here we go.

5. The 4K 60 Frame per Second Autel Evo

This drone is amazing, no geo-fencing. This is an outstanding camera drone. For $999 that’s a great deal. And although Autel hasn’t lowered the price for $999, the price remains the same, what they are doing is offering kind of like a Fly More package for free.

So this deal on the Autel Evo, the drone still costs $999. But for free, for that $999, they’re also throwing in a carrying case, two extra props, and an extra intelligent battery, which will give you another 30 minutes of flight time.

So if you’re a drone pilot, and you’re in the market for a drone, the Autel Evo might be the one for you because of its 60 frame per second 4K, no geo-fencing, and now, for $999, you not only get the drone but you get the extra battery, the carrying case, and so that’s a great choice for you.

4. The Parrot Anafi

Number four is also another drone. It’s the Parrot Anafi. This drone is 4K, shoots 21 megapixels photos, has 180 degree tilt. Another cool drone. That retails for $699 regular price. But this holiday season you can get that for $549. That’s a savings of $150. And for $549, the Parrot Anafi 4K, great photos, the tilt camera, might be the choice for you.

3. The Canon Mirrorless M50

This camera sells for $779 normally, but B&H right now has this camera on sale for $599. That includes a bag for the camera as well as a memory card.

This camera’s pretty cool. It shoots in 4K. It shoots 24 megapixels. But this camera is great for video. In addition to $599, where you can get it at B&H and, I think, Amazon, if you go on eBay you can get this Canon EOS M50, regular $779, you can get it on eBay for $480.

2. Mavic Air

Now the Mavic Air normally costs $799 and $999 for the Fly More package. This 4K 30 frames per second drone is one of the favorites on the market. A lot of people love this drone. Normally it sells for $799 and $999 for the Fly More package, but right now you can get this drone $749 with the Fly More package.

So normally it sells $799 just for the drone. Right now you can get the Fly More package for the Mavic air, which includes three total batteries, a battery charger and extra props. You’re going to get that for $749. That’s a savings of $250. So if you’re looking for a drone, the Mavic Air might be the choice for you.

So before we get to the top spot, let me talk about some honorable mentions. The Sony Alpha A600 normally sells for $648. You can get it on Amazon $448 bucks right now. That’s a savings of $200. And that Sony A600 is a quality camera, and it takes exceptional video.

Another honorable mention is the GoPro 5. They just came out with the GoPro Hero Black 7. It sells for $399. Right now, if you do your homework, you can find the GoPro 5 for just over $200. And the 4K 60 frames per second that you get with this camera, you can do worse. For just under $200 you can get the GoPro 5 Hero Black, which is a great deal.

1. Panasonic Lumix GH5

And the number one deal this shopping season is the Panasonic Lumix GH5. This is a great camera for taking video and photographs. It shoots 4K. Normally $1997, you can get it right now for $1497.

So if you know somebody or if you yourself are in the market for a great camera, there’s five great camera deals that you can take advantage of during this 2018 shopping season.
